SAPPORO BANKEI SKI AREA is the ultimate in urban snow-sports facilities for all guest (to expert from first-timers). It is just 20 minutes from the heart of Sapporo, located in the Chuo-ku (Central Ward) district same as downtown Sapporo. It is convenient to access by subway and BANKEI-BUS or car.
A variety of slopes provides to satisfy for beginner from advanced.
Mini amusement area, The Snow Park delights kids and sightseers also first-time skier and snowboarders.
Fulfilling rental goods are attractive. Visitors and tourists are able to come empty-handed.
A crèche gives mum and dad the opportunity to enjoy themselves.
Ski & Snowboard lessons for English speaker are available.
The gourmet dining, will meet in Bankei ‘s special food in front of the pride of the wooden fireplace.

The Half Pipe is the largest in Japan (at 180 m long -230 m including approach and finish area, 20 m wide, 6–7m deep and with an incline of 17 degrees), was held FIS SNOWBOARD WORLD CUP 2016 SAPPORO,and 2017 SAPPORO ASIAN WINTER GAMES.

A total of 17 runs. 9 courses at beginners and families, 4 intermediate pistes and 4 technically difficult pistes for the experts
Floodlit slopes and lifts that operate until 10 p.m., with a maximum elevation of 482 m, is served by 6 lifts.
Off-piste areas and Snow land, Mogul run (maximum incline of 27 degrees, often used for free-style competitions) and the newly established FIS-approved Half Pipe provide serious challenge!!

| The lessons accept all levels. (first timer as well) For guests of skiers aged 4 years and over, snowboarders aged 6 years and over. Lift fee is are included in the lesson price. Group (5 – 8 guests) is two instructors. Not possible to take skiing and snowboarding together in one group. The prices of group are for group, not per person. In case of level differences in the group, the lesson will be matched to the guest of the lowest level.
